Mission
The Southern Tier Region Economic Development Corporation (“STREDC”) was formed to promote the general economic prosperity of Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Delaware, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins Counties, hereinafter referred to as the “Southern Tier Region”.
STREDC applies for and administers monies from New York State, and other governmental entities to assist municipal economic development organizations with financing projects within the Southern Tier.
STREDC supports legislation at the federal, state and local level which encourages economic development within the Southern Tier Region.
